Most Attractive

After a year of diving the Great Barrier Reef where we saw first hand the effects of warming and acidification we only expected that the days of vibrant and thriving reefs were over.  Indonesia is a hard place to digest with so much cultural complexity.  From power hungry military officers wielding immeasurable influence to the simple Balinese who find there power from within while aspiring for connections beyond material.

We spent months trying to prepare for Komodo National Park.  What we found when we got there was a bit disheartening.  Labuan Bajo was a harbor polluted beyond measure. Our time invested paid off immediately when we met Anton, our guide, who moved on board Nogal and took charge of getting us set up for a month of diving.
